What are your payment methods?

We honor Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. We also accept payments made through PayPal, and accept personal checks and money orders made out to The Witch's Wart in U.S. dollars drawn on a U.S. bank. Please make sure to print a copy of your invoice at the time of checkout and send with your money order or check. Orders are processed upon receipt of a money order or check and upon clearance of personal checks. Please allow 5-10 banking days following receipt for clearance of funds before your order is processed. We cannot guarantee the availability of an item by the time payment is received and funds clear. We reserve the right to charge a $25.00 fee on all returned checks.
Please do not send cash. We will not be responsible for cash sent to us through the mail.

How long before you ship my order?

In stock items are normally shipped within 48 hours of receiving your complete order information, excluding holidays. Orders placed on Friday or over the weekend normally ship on Tuesday or Wednesday. If an order will take longer to ship than 4 business days, we will inform you by email. If an item becomes unavailable for any reason, we will inform you as quickly as possible. We will offer you shipping options concerning the backorder or issue a refund if prepaid. Backorders are rare, but do happen on occasion. Out of stock items are usually shipped in 10-15 business days. If, for any reason, it will take any longer, you will be notified. Checks and money orders require a 10 day hold period until funds are cleared before shipment of your order.

Do you provide international shipping?

At this time, we only ship to the United States.

What are your shipping methods?

We will ship using the carrier of your choice (USPS or UPS). Insurance is included in the shipping price. Once your order is shipped, we will provide you with a tracking number that you may use to keep track of your order delivery status. No C.O.D.. In our efforts to "Harm None", we strive to use recycled packing materials whenever possible.

If you are choosing an overnight or express shipping method, please have your order in to us by 12:00 P.M. Eastern time. This will allow us to have time to package your order and get it to the post office before their cutoff time.

If you live in or near Manchester, New Hampshire, and will be attending any of the events that we will be vending at, please contact us before placing your order as we may be able to save you money on shipping charges by delivering your order to you at an event. Be sure to check out our events page to see where we will be!

What if I enter my address incorrectly when ordering?

Our shipping labels reflect the address entered by the customer at the time of ordering. In the event that an address has been entered incorrectly, The Witch's Wart assumes no responsibility for the delivery of the order. In the event that a misaddressed shipment is returned, customer will be charged any fees incurred for return postage due. Upon return of any misaddressed shipment, customer will have the option of having the order reshipped to the correct address (new shipping charges apply), or cancelling their order, whereupon a charge-back will be applied to their credit card for the cost of goods only (we cannot credit for shipping charges on goods shipped)-minus a 15% restocking fee.

What if my order is lost or stolen?

USPS-

In the event that an order shipped via USPS has not been received when it was scheduled to be delivered, please contact us at info@thewitchswart.com. If USPS tracking indicates that an order has not been delivered in 21 days from the date of shipment (the allotted delivery period established by USPS), then an insurance claim will be filed with USPS.
In the event that an order shipped via USPS has not been received when it was scheduled to be delivered, and USPS tracking confirms that your order was delivered, and you are not in receipt of it, we recommend that you first contact your local Post Office where it is possibly being held for you. If USPS tracking confirms an order has been delivered, and you are not in receipt of it, then any dispute you have must be addressed with USPS directly. Delivery is assumed and designated as such by The Witch's Wart and the customer to be complete when confirmed as delivered by the USPS tracking system. Customers assume all risks and responsibility for the safety of a shipment upon delivery. The Witch's Wart cannot be responsible for theft or loss of delivered goods, and assumes no such liability.
Mail theft and mail fraud (i.e.: the false reporting of stolen or unreceived mail) are federal crimes. We are happy to assist USPS authorities and our customers by providing any documentation that may be helpful in reporting and/or recovering a lost shipment.

UPS-

If your package cannot be located, UPS will file a claim. Are there any sales taxes on my order?

Located in tax-free New Hampshire, we are not required to charge any sales taxes.

How will my personal and confidential information be used?

We are committed to your right to privacy. Your information is used to the extent necessary to process your order and provide customer service. The Witch's Wart never sells, rents or provides your personal and confidential information to any outside source. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Do you offer discreet packaging?

Not out of the broom closet? At customer's request, we will ship your order discreetly with the name of our company omitted, instead using a personal name. We will not use the name "The Witch's Wart" anywhere on the package. Your privacy is extremely important to us. Please make sure to request this at the time of checkout.

Are your transactions secure?

You can shop with confidence on our site. Our 128-bit SSL encryption provided by Authorize.net ensures secure online transactions. Authorize.Net is uncompromising when it comes to providing secure, trustworthy payment processing services. For receiving and transmitting customer payment information Authorize.Net implements the most advanced Internet security protocols including 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). On top of that, Authorize.Net consistently employs an extensive number of strong practices, procedures and industry leading technologies to maintain tight security for the entire payment gateway platform. What if my shipment is damaged?

For Damaged Items: All items that we ship via USPS and UPS are insured for everyone's protection. Please notify us within 3 business days of receiving your order of any damaged items. Please keep all of the original packaging as well as your receipt as proof of damage may be required once an insurance claim is filed. You may be requested to take your package and merchandise to your local post office or UPS office for further inspection. Once claim is filed, their policies must be followed in order to receive an exchange or refund.

Unsatisfied: If you are unhappy with the merchandise for any reason (see below for exceptions), please email us within 5 business days. If the need should arise to return your order, you may return it within 14 days for an exchange or a credit towards your next purchase. We do not reimburse shipping costs for you to mail your order back to us. There will be a 15% restocking fee assessed and returns must be in their original packaging with all tags intact and in new condition. If you are making an exchange, enclose a check or money order to cover the shipping.
You must email or call for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before shipping it back to us to insure that your refund is properly applied. Email us for an RMA number and the mailing address. Credits or exchanges cannot be given until we receive the returned merchandise.

Exceptions to Returns:

  • Returned product must be received by us within 14 days of initial delivery, with its original packaging and bill of sale.
  • Returned items must be unused. We carefully inspect returned items upon receipt before issuance of credits, or exchanges. You are not entitled to a credit or exchange on clothing if it has been worn, washed, damaged or tags have been removed.
  • Merchandise should be carefully packed and insured for the full purchase price and shipped via a traceable means (UPS, FedEx, etc.)
  • Returns may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • If returned item(s) offered "free" or "included" shipping at time of purchase, the refund amount shall be the purchase price minus shipping expenses incurred by The Witch's Wart during initial delivery of product.
  • Please allow up to 10 business days for us to process your return.
